K C Engineering
K C Engineering was formed in 1982
by Dr. Keith Chester. The initial perspective was that in general
clients do not always receive the service and technical integrity
in the product that they and the equipment that they operate deserve.
This is still true in some instances today. We believe that in
most cases there is little difference in the cost of providing
an adequate product and in supplying a good product and so to
exceed the fit for purpose category and provide our clients with
a superior service, is at the heart of everything we do.
In the formative years of the company there was a strong reliance
on individual craftsmanship and the dedication of a small team
of people. The loyalty of our clients stand as a testament to
the determination that the whole company has to provide a technically
sound service at a competitive price in a timescale that meets
the needs of the client.
Whilst the objectives are still valid the development of improved
machining and casting techniques and a strong commitment to staff
training has enabled the company to raise our technical competence,
extend the range of service both in complexity and size whilst
simultaneously reducing prices. Constant innovation and seeking
improved production processes will enable the company to expand
and develop further.
