Investment in FEA Software has enabled K C Engineering to provide a comprehenisve design and analysis service for all of its products. The software provides an acurate analysis of bearing performance to evaluate how safe or suitable the design of the bearing is for the application. The results of the software provide all the data required to evalute the bearing performance; oil film thickness, maximum temperature, power loss and oil flow rate. In addition, the stiffness and damping coefficients of the bearing are calculated to allow equipment designers to model the bearings in their rotor dymanic analysis.
