has been given approval to supply whitemetal components to one of
the worlds premier aerospace OEM's. The components are used both
in land applications and military aviation. These critical applications
therefore demand the most stringent quality controls and inspection
criteria. Every batch of components
is tested with ultrasonic inspection, miscroscopic visual inspection
and destructive metallographical examination. To improve inspection
control and process time a custom built submerged ultrasonic inspection
rig is being constructed in house.
