| K
C Engineeing has completed a destructive test of the bond strength
on a repaired steel roll neck bush according to ISO 4386-2 (the
Chalmers test). The results shows a high quality bond satifsying
ISO requirements with no defects or unbonded areas shown in the
fracture area. KC Engineering has a high quality tinning and casting
process and by going beyond Ultrasonic Inspection and Liquid Dye
Penetrant Testing, this proves the ability of K C Engineering where
it matters most - at the bond interface. Microscopical examination
confirms that fracture had occurred wholly within the whitemetal
which indicates that the bond is stronger than the parent material.
