Septemeber 2010: Repair and Re-Engineer of Load Gear Box Bearings in 12 days
K C Engineering has recently completed a full repair of 6 load gear box bearings for a GE Frame 6 Gas Turbine on a 12 day lead time. During the repair process the bearings were reverse engineered and full manufacturing drawings made available so future spares can be supplied on request. All of the bearings were centrifugally cast offering very high quality repairs and inspected to ISO standards for ultrasonic and dye pentrant inspection.
