K C Engineering operates a dedicated facility for the whitemetal lining, proof machining and inspection of components to be used in aerospace applications, which is supported by AS9100 quality management system accreditation.

Every component manufactured in this facility is subject to ultrasonic inspection and visual examination. Visual examinations are conducted microsopically. For each production batch one sample is sectioned and the bond interface is microscopically examined and documented for verification and traceability.

This unique facility, developed for a major aerospace OEM, is recognition of the abilty and expertise of K C Engineering's team to deliver whitemetal lined components to the highest standards with the most demanding controls and procedures during manufacture and inspection.
