Bearing Liners

K C Engineering supplies both power generation OEM's and end users with the manufacture and repair of turbine and generator liners. For such critical applications, all bearing liners are centrifugally cast for repair or for manufacture and any whitemetal grade specification can be used. This offers a very high quality whitmetal lining both in terms of bond strength and grain structure.

K C Engineering Inspects bond integrity on all bearings to ISO 4386-1 or to customer specifications. As requested by our customers a Dye Pentrant Inspection can also be carried out to ISO4386-3 by our qualified inspectors. Customers can specify any standard for Dye Penetrant as with a centrifugally cast bearing; Class A dye penetrant criteria can always be achieved.
